Julian has over 20 years’ experience providing Organizational Development [OD], Strategy, Human resource, and management consultancy with international experience across Africa and Asia to support delivery and execution of strategies.
Her areas of expertise are directed to support organizations as they think and act strategically to address critical constraints to institutional management and growth. Julian focus on client-centered processes to identify and execute interventions which drive improved organization effectiveness.
These include; institutional/ organization development; organizational redesign, change management, organizational culture – high-impact culture and change projects, strategy review and development, HR strategies and systems; review of policies /standards; systems development; organizational performance systems, as well as employee engagement. Julian’s consult extensively to credible regional and international organizations.
She has extensive expertise in robust Organization Capacity Assessment (OCA) and developing strategies; Talent Search and Selection; Human Resource Management Solutions and Advisory Services. Her consulting services have been to organizations including; WaterAid East Africa, Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA), FEMNET, Akina Mama wa Africa (AMwA), Africa Population Health Research (APHRC), African Activist for Climate Justice (AACJ), ActionAid International, ILRI, ICRAF, ZEP-RE, The African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP), NORDA Industries, Amnesty International, International Peace Support Training Center (IPSTC), All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC), EAWS, COTTAR’s Safaris among others.
Previously, Julian served in senior leadership roles with ActionAid as HROD Manager; and Asia Region – Head of Human Resource/Organization Development on a role scope covering to 12 countries in Asia, and International Head of Training and Development. Julian holds Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nairobi, and is a Member of IHRM, and Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) – USA.
